When the long-time editor of the bi-monthly Send & Ripley History Society Journal, which had been published in Somerset, sadly died, I, as chairman, had to make alternative arrangements very speedily for continuation of its publication, out of obligation both to members and to advertisers.
I telephoned one of those advertisers, abpublishing of Ripley, and explained the problem to Angela who straightaway agreed to take on the typesetting and publishing if somebody could as editor put the material together. I agreed to do this, and the arrangement has worked very well. Angie found a local printer, Eltons of Byfleet, and their combined fees amount to less than was previously paid for printing only. Angie can be contacted by telephone, by email or by calling at her office.
As one who is only semi computer-literate, I find it extremely useful to be able to rely on her computer expertise. I also rely on Angie for advice on copyright matters, on the reproduction of photographs and other illustrations, on the finer points of grammar and spelling. When typesetting, Angie is able to expand or contract material to fit a given space or number of pages. Her knowledge on a wide range of historical specialities is also very useful. In conclusion I would like to stress that Angie is invariably friendly, approachable, helpful and positive.

This is to say a big thank you to Angela of abpublishing company, for being so efficient and reliable. Me and my husband were getting married in 4months time, but during that time she managed to put together all our personalised wedding stationery which included; the wedding cards, table names, guests' names, order of service and thank you cards. Mind you that was a short notice order but she managed to get everything done with the same logo, theme and colours on time for our wedding without even having to chase her around.
